Shipping + Return Policies


SHIPPING TERMS

Most of our products will ship with FedEx small parcel service unless it is listed and identified as needing special handling or truck service. Orders will be shipped within 48 hours. Once shipped, transit time will depend on the address it is going to, but you should expect your order to arrive within 2-7 business days. 

Once your order is processed, no changes or cancellation can be made to the order (including change in shipping address).


BACKORDERED ITEMS

We make every effort to update the stock information and provide you with estimated shipping times. Only items that are available and in stock can be ordered. In an event that an item that you ordered has become unavailable at the time of shipping, our customer service team will contact you to see if you would like to replace with another item or cancel the order.

 

SHIPPING RATES

Shipping is free for many of our products with the exception of large items where special handling charges will apply. Products requiring special handling charges will be noted in your cart.

We only ship to addresses within the continental USA (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). We do not currently ship to Canada or to International addresses.

 

OVERSIZED/FRAGILE DELIVERIES 

For oversized items, we will be using special delivery service. Transit time typically takes 7-10 days.  

Once your item is ready for delivery, a shipping agent will contact you to schedule a time that works for you. They will be delivering the item at the curb of your driveway. They will not be able to bring the item to your desired space inside the building. This fee does not include White Glove Delivery services. 

Make sure to inspect your delivery upon its arrival and mark on the delivery signature page if there are issues that you see after inspecting the product.  Please contact customer care team (email or phone) ASAP if you have issues with the product that you received.  

 

DAMAGED PRODUCT

At East at Main, products are carefully packaged to avoid damages during transit.  If your shipment arrives damaged, make sure to note on the signature page of the delivery receipt and call our customer care team within 48 hours of receiving the product so that we can arrange to have a replacement shipped out as soon as possible.

If you refuse your shipment due to damage or manufacturing defect, the piece will be brought back to the local delivery terminal. We will then review and evaluate the condition of the piece. Please note, the claims process takes 2-3 weeks to finalize and issue a replacement. Our team will work hard to have a replacement issued and shipped as soon as possible.

Shipments which are refused due to non-damage or defect are not returnable.  

 

GENERAL RETURNS POLICY

The East at Main team takes pride in curating the best selection of products for you. We have hand selected the products that are made of the best material and designs that are timeless.  However, we understand that you may still need to make a return.  All returns must be done via your own preferred carrier and we will only refund your credit card after we receive the return merchandise in our warehouse in a resaleable condition.  

You are responsible for return shipping – including the shipping and handling charges. Returning an item is at your own risk. You must ensure that the item is adequately packaged.  We are not responsible for any damage resulting from poor packaging. Refunds will be made to the original method of payment, less shipping and handling. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the product received is damaged or defective or incorrect.  Please allow 3-5 business days, from the date of receipt, to conduct a quality control review and issue a refund. Once a refund has been issued, you will be notified via email. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to post back to your account.
